Liverpool fans say goodbye to Jamie Carragher with huge mosaic

The legendary Liverpool defender bowed out this afternoon.

AFTER 16 YEARS in the Liverpool first team, Jamie Carragher hung up his boots this afternoon after a 1-0 win over QPR.

The 35-year-old was given a guard of honour as he walked out onto the Anfield pitch with his two children and was greeted by an enormous mosaic in The Kop, which spelled out “JC23″ – his initials and shirt number.
