Well that’s all from us folks.

Hope you enjoyed the coverage and we’ll see you again soon.

And that’s it.

Crystal Palace punish Liverpool with a Christian Benteke double and bring them one step closer to cementing their spot in the Premier League next season.

Into injury time now.

Liverpool corner tests the Palace defence but they clear the ball out.

Benteke earns his rest as he is substituted in the closing minutes. Frazier Campbell comes in to get a run.

Alberto Moreno comes on for James Milner. Liverpool running out of time to get the equaliser.

GOAL!

Benteke gets his second of the day.

Liverpool caught napping for the delivery of that corner and Benteke punished them with what could be the winning goal here.

Nicely timed tackle from Milner to put a halt to Townsend’s run into the Liverpool box.

MISS!

Crystal Palace free-kick puts Liverpool under pressure and after the defence struggle to clear the ball,  Cabaye gets an opportunity to steal a goal.

His final shot on the turn just sails over the bar. That might well have been their best chance to take the lead.

MISS!

Firmino drags his shot wide.

Liverpool continue to look dominant but can’t seem to get the decisive goal to reclaim the lead.

Score is still locked at 1-1 as we pass the hour mark.

SAVE!

Firmino was racing in there to pounce on a ball in the Palace penalty area. Hennessey was quick to smother the ball though.

Liverpool free for a Schlupp handball.

Great delivery from Coutinho but none of the Liverpool players in the box can get up high enough to steer a header into the net.

SAVE!

Liverpool come agonisingly close to restoring their lead. Coutinho danced his way around the Palace cover.

His goal bound shot is blocked out. He takes the corner and the ball comes to Lucas who blasts it over.

Coutinho starts as he finished the first half but his final shot at goal flies over the bar.

Great run from Schlupp from the midfield area but he’s forced out over the endline and a corner is the outcome.

Second half has started at Anfield. Who will break the 1-1 scoreline to take the lead?

Half-time whistle has sounded.

Benteke has equalised at Anfield following Coutinho’s cracker of a free-kick, to leave the scoreline reading 1-1 at the break.

Half-time is close and that Palace goal has changed the complexion of this game.

Benteke unloads another shot but Mignolet bends to collect the ball.

GOAL!!

Palace patience rewarded as Benteke smashes a shot home from close distance. Liverpool defenders caught out on the wrong side and Palace capitalised.

Origi on the deck receiving treatment.

That pass from Milner deserved a shot at goal.

Nutmegged a tasty pass through the legs of a Palace defender but the attack fades out.

Matip cuts out a cross from Zaha and the visitors have a corner.

Milner tried to work his way through there but go muscled off the ball. Possession eventually fell to Origi but it went out over the end line.

Coutinho continues to look menacing on the ball.

Liverpool with just the one shot on target so far but that was all they needed to take the lead at Anfield.

GOAL!

Magic. Coutinho takes the free that he earned and curls a beautiful shot up and around the wall and inside the post.

Liverpool free.

Coutinho tripped while trying to run through. Decent scoring position.

MISS!!

Palace still have life in them. Benteke takes a shot without any real pressure on him but it drifts wide.

Liverpool will have to get tighter on him.

Liverpool earn a corner after some pressure play on the Palace defence but Hennessey jumps highest to claim the ball.

Zaha offside but some encouraging link play between himself and Townsend. Liverpool still look threatening though.

Liverpool have 70% possession over the opening 13 minutes. Palace struggling to work the ball into an attacking position.

Some nice passing movement there from Liverpool. Wijnaldum tries to create a chance with a pass in the penalty area but it comes to nothing.

Firmino cuts in a nice cross but there’s no Liverpool boot there waiting to take a shot at goal.

Milner whips in a nice cross. Nothing comes of it but he’s testing the Palace defence.

We’re underway at Anfield.

Both teams coming out now as You’ll Never Walk Alone strikes up at Anfield.

Just fifteen minutes to kick-off at Anfield.

Liverpool looking for a win to keep Man City at a distance, while Crystal Palace need the points to build up a gap from relegation danger.

Apologies there folks with the scoreline. Gremlins in the system brought us back in time for some reason.

The game obviously doesn’t start for another half hour.
