MANCHESTER UNITED MANAGED 5-1 win over the A-League All Stars in Sydney this morning with a familiar face in opposition, Liam Miller.
The 32-year-old moved to the A-League in 2011 and is with his second club down under having moved from Perth Glory to the Brisbane Roar.
Here he is tangling with United’s Player of the Year last season, Michael Carrick, who joined the Premier League side just as the Corkman was being allowed leave to Sunderland.
And here, the former Celtic, Leeds, Sunderland and Hibernian midfielder gets the better of Alex Ferguson’s final signing as Manchester United manager, Wilfried Zaha.

Miller was been unable to upset his former club’s rhythm too much though as David Moyes has watched his side take a 2-0 half time lead thanks to Jesse Lingard and Danny Welbeck.
Those too added one more each after the break, and after Besart Berisha had pulled one back for the A-League side, before substitute Robin Van Persie made the final score 5-1.
