What's the story with the shorts from Man United's new Champions League kit?

Adidas have unveiled the club’s third strip today.

MANCHESTER UNITED HAVE gone back to black for their new third kit.

Manufacturers Adidas today officially unveiled the black and orange strip, which the Premier League club will wear for away matches in the Champions League.

One unique feature is the faded design on the shorts, as modelled here by Juan Mata.

According to Adidas, it’s a throwback to this classic jersey from the early 1990s.
