SEVERAL OF IRISH football’s most familiar faces turned out at the Brandywell today to show their support for Mark Farren.
The former Derry City striker will fly to Mexico on Monday for specialist treatment on a brain tumour, and a fundraising game between a Derry City XI and a Northern Ireland XI took place this afternoon at the home of the Candystripes.
Republic of Ireland manager Martin O’Neill took charge of the Derry City side, while Northern Ireland boss Michael O’Neill was in the opposing bench.
