MEMPHIS DEPAY BAGGED a double tonight as the Netherlands struggled to a 3-1 win over minnows Luxembourg in their World Cup 2018 qualifier.
After Arjen Robben’s opener for the Dutch was cancelled out by a Maxime Chanot penalty, Depay came off the bench and headed the visitors into the lead shortly before the hour mark.
Manchester United team-mate Daley Blind was the provider, floating a cross from the left which Depay powered past Ralph Schon.
The goal was his first in a competitive international since June 2014, ending a 874-day drought.
