TYRONE FACE KERRY in a crucial NFL Division 1 clash tomorrow in Omagh, with the loser likely to go down to Division 2.

Tyrone have been dealt a blow though, with the news that their three-time All-Ireland winning manager Mickey Harte won’t be on the touchline for the game.

Harte is recovering from a ‘surgical procedure’ and it’s likely that his assistants, Gavin Devlin and Peter Donnelly, will take charge tomorrow.

“Tyrone Senior Football manager Mickey Harte underwent a surgical procedure on Monday and is now recovering at home,” Tyrone said in a statement.

“He will resume his managerial duties with the senior football team in the very near future. Coiste Contae Thir Eoghain, the players and backroom team wish Mickey a speedy recovery.”
