‘INSPIRED BY HISTORY’ is what Norwich are saying about their new third kit for the 2016-17 season.
But, they should be reminded that some history needs to be forgotten.
On one hand, you can understand the Canaries attempting to tap into a bit of nostalgia and remind fans of the glory days of the mid-1990s when the side were beating Bayern Munich and challenging for Premier League titles rather than suffering relegation.
But, then again, there’s simply no excuse for this.
Perhaps one of the comments underneath said it best:
“Designed by a two-year-old finger painter”.
