BECKHAM TO BAYERN?
Well, it happened on Friday though it’s not quite what you think.
New York Giants’ wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr was a guest of the iconic German club at their Saebener Strasse training complex and spent some time with the players.
Though Javi Martinez and David Alaba were both present too, the 23-year-old chatted to Xabi Alonso – a quarterback in his own right – quite a bit.
For the benefit of the nearby camera crew, both tried their hands at each other’s respective sport.
OBJ attempted to juggle a football while the Spanish midfielder attempted some keepie-uppies with a pig-skin.
There was some shooting practice too before the 23-year-old was gifted a personalised Bayern shirt for his troubles.
Beckham Jr is in Germany for the next three days and is also expected to visit the Munich Cowboys – the city’s local American football team.
