LESS THAN A week after Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored a stunning backheel volley, he’s been outdone by Olivier Giroud.

The Emirates Stadium hosted a Premier League meeting between Arsenal and Crystal Palace that ended in a 2-0 win for the Gunners, and the home side went in front after 17 minutes thanks to one of the best finishes you’ll see.

Arsenal broke at pace through the middle with Granit Xhaka feeding Alex Iwobi. The Nigerian found Alexis Sanchez out wide and his cross was then turned in off the bar by Giroud’s scorpion kick.

Astonishing improvisation from the Frenchman.
