AN ARTICLE TODAY in The Sunday World suggests Roy Keane is interested in becoming the next Ireland manager.

The paper reports that Keane has told FAI officials to add his name to the shortlist once Giovanni Trapattoni leaves the job.

Moreover, the ex-Manchester Uunited player is quoted as saying: “I’d like the opportunity to get back in [managing] and I certainly would not rule out coming back to live in Cork. It has crossed my mind.”

With that in mind, what do you think? Would you like Roy Keane to be the next Ireland manager?
