Poll: Was Peter Crouch's volley against Man City goal of the season?

Have your say on the Stoke striker’s wonder goal from Saturday.

THE PREMIER LEAGUE has brought us some pretty cracking volleys already this season.

There was Robin van Persie‘s thing of beauty which celebrated Arsenal’s 125th birthday with a win over Everton in December.

The one Juan Mata blasted past his compatriot David de Gea in February’s 3-3 draw between Chelsea and Manchester United.

Or Liverpool defender Sebastian Coates‘ first goal for the club in their 3-2 defeat to QPR last week.

All are worthy contenders, but at the Britannia Stadium this weekend, an absolute worldy from Peter Crouch earned the Potters a draw as Manchester City’s title aspirations took another setback.

The 6ft 7in striker has shown in the past that he has got the odd wonder goal in him but Saturday’s strike was surely his best one yet.

That begs the question then, was it goal of the season so far?
