Pro12: Ulster name full strength squad for Connacht clash

Fresh from an intense win over Munster, Ulster coach, Brian McLaughlin has named a 37-man squad for this Saturday’s trip to Galway.

ULSTER COACH BRIAN McLaughlin has all of his successful players from last Sunday’s Heineken Cup quarter-final win over Munster in contention for this Saturday’s Pr012 meeting with Connacht.

In an extended squad, named today, for the trip to Galway the northern province have reported no further injury concerns.

Only long-term absentees; Jared Payne, Simon Danielli, Chis Cochrane and Tim Barker will not be considered.

With fellow European semi-finalists, Leinster, providing the opposition next week, McLaughlin is likely to count the trip west as a chance to rest his front-liners building up to their big day in the Aviva on 28 April.

That means a likely starting berth for Paul Marshall and Paddy Jackson at half back.

Ulster squad for Connacht:

Forwards: Callum Black, Tom Court, Declan Fitzpatrick, Adam Macklin, John Afoa, Paddy McAllister, Andi Kyriacou, Nigel Brady, Rory Best, Lewis Stevenson, Johann Muller (captain), Dan Tuohy, Iain Henderson, Neil McComb, Stephen Ferris, Willie Faloon, Pedrie Wannenburg, Ali Birch, Mike McComish, Chris Henry, Robbie Diack

Backs: Paul Marshall, Ruan Pienaar, Ian Porter, Ian Humphreys, Paddy Jackson, Paddy Wallace, Ian Whitten, Darren Cave, Luke Marshall, Nevin Spence, Michael Allen, Stefan Terblanche, Craig Gilroy, Conor Gaston, Andrew Trimble, Adam D’Arcy.
