'My biggest fear was being treated as an outcast' - Paxman interviews Robbie Rogers

US INTERNATIONAL ROBBIE ROGERS appeared on BBC’s Newsnight last night to talk about homosexuality in professional football.

The one-time Leeds United player quit the sport earlier this year before publicly announcing that he is gay. Over the summer, however, he decided to return to football and joined MLS club LA Galaxy.

Check out his interview with Jeremy Paxman in which he tells of his fear of being treated as an “outcast” by team-mates:
