Bad news for Ireland as Seamus Coleman hasn't even made the Everton squad today

The right-back now looks a serious doubt for this week’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Germany.

SEAMUS COLEMAN NOW looks set to miss the Republic of Ireland’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Germany on Thursday.

The Everton defender has not even made the squad for today’s Merseyside derby because of a hamstring injury, though Martin O’Neill had named the 26-year-old in his 40-man group for the forthcoming international assignments.

Coleman has been on the sidelines for the last three weeks and Toffees’ boss Roberto Martinez had said pre-game that the right-back would be given right up until Sunday to prove his fitness.

The fact he hasn’t even made the 18-man group for the clash at Merseyside says much and he’s now a major doubt for this week’s crucial game against the reigning World Cup champions at the Aviva Stadium.
