VIDEO: Shane Long discusses his move to Hull

The striker described how his Irish international teammates helped persuade him to come to the club.

IRELAND INTERNATIONAL SHANE Long completed his move to Hull City yesterday, as Steve Bruce’s side added to the already sizeable Irish contingent at the club.

It hasn’t been the most prolific seasons for Long, with just three goals in 15 games so far, though the striker wasn’t always an automatic first-team pick with the Baggies.

Nevertheless, the 26-year-old is unlikely to find his first team opportunities so limited at the Tigers, with boss Steve Bruce a clear fan, having also tried to sign the Tipperary native in the summer transfer window.

And he discusses all these issues in the video below, while also revealing that positive feedback from many of the club’s Irish contingent was an integral factor in his decision to make the move.
