Tebowing: the new planking?

The Denver Broncos’ uber-devout quarterback has made the transition to internet celebrity, serving as the inspiration behind Tumbler’s latest craze.

TIM TEBOW IS a really nice guy.

So nice, in fact, that when he lead a labouring Denver Broncos side to victory against the Miami Dolphins– a team yet to register a victory this season– he was hailed as a hero. Such is the strength of the goodwill his name inspires.

The quarterback is also a really, really devout Christian; meaning he celebrated that now iconic victory by sinking to one knee amidst the post-game chaos and having a little chat with the Big Man upstairs (who may or may not be a figment of his imagination).

In honour of that moment, Tumbler brings us “Tebowing”.

As a colleague of mine so succinctly put it: “Please don’t let this become a thing.”
