The stats behind Dublin's four in a row attempt

27 games unbeaten. Four different venues. Three Sam Maguires.

ONLY TWO TEAMS have won four senior football All-Irelands back-to-back – Kerry and Wexford.

Dublin are aiming to become the third later today.

The boys in blue have been a dominant force over the last four years. Since the start of the championship in 2015, Dublin have played 27 games of football and won 25. The other two being draws against Mayo.

That means that they head into today’s All-Ireland final against Tyrone not having lost a championship match since the All-Ireland semi-final in 2014.

Do Tyrone have what it takes to stop them? Tyrone are one of only three teams to have kept Dublin to three points or less in that period, losing by three earlier this year in the Super 8s.

Can they bring Dublin’s reign to an end today?
