HOURS AFTER THEY beefed up the already-beefy Conor McGregor v Jose Aldo card by adding a second title fight, the UFC announced a blockbuster bill for May 23 featuring two more championship bouts.
Jon “Bones” Jones puts his light-heavyweight crown on the line against number one contender Anthony “Rumble” Johnson in the main event at UFC 187 in the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
And as if that wasn’t enough, middleweight champ Chris Weidman defends against Vitor Belfort in the co-main.
There’s more too, including a lightweight doozy between Khabib Nurmagomedov and fan favourite Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, ranked #2 and #3 respectively.
Travis Browne takes on Andrei “Pitbull” Arlovski in the heavyweight division while Joseph Benavidez faces his fellow flyweight hopeful John Moraga.
That should help the pay-per-view numbers.
