Women’s rugby: pretty tough going, as it turns out

Bet you thought only the men’s game had big tackles. Here’s a hint: you’re wrong.

If you’re a fan of hard hits, you’re in for a treat: here’s Fiona Pocock of the England women’s team, bearing down on the Australian line during England’s 15-0 semi-final victory over Australia during the week.

Or, at least, she was bearing down – until Nicole Beck came in with a gargantuan, and perfectly-timed, tackle to bundle Pocock over the line and into safety.
