Wenger bemoans international break after Ramsey ruled out for a month
Ramsey injured his hamstring in the win against Bayern Munich.

ARSENAL MANAGER ARSENE Wenger says the club will be without midfielder Aaron Ramsey for the next month, after he injured his hamstring in Tuesday night’s win against Bayern Munich.

Ramsey limped off in the second half of the vital 2-0 win, and after a scan on Thursday, Wenger said the player could be out for around four weeks.

Wenger pointed the blame at Ramsey’s participation in Wales’ Euro 2016 qualifier against Andorra last week, claiming fatigue contributed to the recent injury.

He and Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale both played in the meaningless win, with Wales having already secured qualification to the tournament.

And their clubs have since been angered further, with both players picking up injuries on returning to their clubs.

Wenger said that his player would not be available for Wales in their friendly with Holland on November 13, telling Arsenal’s website that he would not be back in action until after that international break

“He had a scan today but he’s out. I believe he will be out until after the next international break.

“With the (last) international break, the fact that he played against Andorra certainly cost (Gareth) Bale and him as well.”
