Alan Quinlan facing lay-off after Connacht injury
James Coughlan also likely to miss Heineken Cup clash with Toulon.

MUNSTER’S ALAN QUINLAN will be out for “several weeks” after dislocating an elbow against Connacht.

Quinlan suffered the injury after 47 minutes and was immediately taken to Galway University Hospital where his elbow was put back in place.

He was discharged on the Monday night and returned home.

And as the back-row issues pile up for Tony McGahan, James Coughlan has a cracked cheekbone.

Both are likely to miss Munster’s must-win showdown with Toulon.

The Reds will hope to come through the New Year’s Day clash with Ulster without more knocks.
