The retail guru is back and is helping struggling shops up their game. Tonight, she heads to south-east London to a fashion boutique who need a fierce lesson in customer service. Originally set out to target a young market, her family convinced her to cater to older tastes, but Mary’s got a problem with that.
Masterchef (BBC 1, 9pm)
Just as we lost the Great British Bake Off, we receive a new series of Master Chef to keep us reaching for the snacks after work. John Torode and Gregg Wallace will be putting the first five amateur hopefuls through their paces, with new challenges to stress and salivate over. Yessss.
The Kids Who Can’t Stay Awake (Channel 4, 10pm)
This documentary follows three British kids who developed symptoms of narcolepsy during the massive increase in cases of the sleep disorder in the UK in 2010. A fascinating look at the incurable sleep disorder and why the increase in cases occurred.
Everyone’s talking about… This Morning’s bondage
Philip Schofield has spoken out about the complaints filed with Ofcom after a Fifty Shades of Grey style segment during This Morning.
The bondage segment received 120 complaints, but presenter Schofield told PA:
I think for me, and it’s my own personal belief, but in the old days people would pick up the phone and complain or they’d write a letter. But now they go to Ofcom, and they must be sick to death of all this.Any minor outrage that anyone’s got, they go to Ofcom. They must be inundated with minor complaints.
