GALWAY HAVE NAMED an unchanged team for their All-Ireland final showdown with Cork, as Cathal Murray’s side aim to retain the O’Duffy Cup for the first time in the county’s history.
Murray has opted to stick with the same starting team who earned a 1-14 to 0-11 win over Kilkenny in the semi-final.
Captain Carrie Dolan, Aoife Donohue and Dervla Higgins appeared to pick up knocks in that clash but have been named to start for what is a third consecutive All-Ireland final meeting between the counties.
Niamh Mallon has been dealing with a shoulder injury and has not featured for Galway since June, but is named among the substitutes for Sunday’s game [throw-in, 4.15pm].
