BOHEMIANS HAVE SUFFERED a major blow in their hopes of producing late drama in the Premier Division title race after the FAI confirmed that Dawson Devoy will be suspended for the final two games of the season.
The Gypsies’ captain was shown a straight red card for his part in a post-match brawl with some Shamrock Rovers players after the Dublin derby at Tallaght Stadium earlier this month.
After an initial one-game suspension, Devoy was hit with a further punishment for his role in the melee. Bohs assistant manager Stephen O’Donnell will also be absent from the sideline until next season as a result of his involvement.

Bohs face Shelbourne at Dalymount Park this Friday before travelling to St Patrick’s Athletic for what could prove a dramatic finale.
Rovers have a three-point lead at the top and could seal the title with a win over Sligo Rovers if Bohs fail to do the same against Shels.
The Hoops finish the year away to Dundalk and know victory at Oriel Park will secure a sixth crown in seven seasons.
Rovers will also be missing teenage striker Michael Noonan, winger Daniel Grant and youngster Naj Razi because of the brawl with Bohs while midfielder Matt Healy will miss the clash with Sligo after picking up another yellow card.
