Norwich are interested in Brady, with the two clubs embroiled in a dispute over the the Dubliner’s valuation. The Canaries are believed to have made an €8.6 million bid for the player, though Hull are understood to want €10 million for the winger.

Aiden McGeady

Both Sunderland and Celtic have been linked with McGeady — who had a disappointing, injury-hampered campaign last season — but manager Roberto Martinez continues to play down rumours linking the 29-year-old with a move away from the club.

Jeff Hendrick

Aston Villa and Newcastle have both been linked with a move for the 23-year-old Derby midfielder, with the possibility of a reunion with former Rams boss Steve McClaren on the cards.

David Forde

With Forde eager to retain hopes of a starting spot with Ireland, the player may need to leave Millwall — who were relegated from the Championship last season. Reading, Derby and Fulham are among the clubs who have been linked with the 35-year-old stopper.

As well as Hendrick, Steve McClaren is also interested in recruiting another Derby player — Richard Keogh — who made the Championship Team of the Year last season. West Brom and Sunderland are also understood to be interested in the 28-year-old Ireland international.

Marc Wilson

Along with Jon Walters, Wilson has just a year left on his current contract, and while manager Mark Hughes has insisted he is keen to hold onto the duo, Wilson didn’t hold down a regular place at Stoke towards the end of last season. The club consequently may be content to cash in on the defender now, rather than risk losing him for nothing next summer.
