Watch this 95-year-old man smash a 200m sprint record

We dare you not to cry.

EVER HAVE DIFFICULTY getting off the couch and into your trainers?

This should be all the inspiration you need.

Last Sunday, Dr Charles Eugster smashed a sprint world record – at 95 years of age. The British doc took 2.4′ off the indoor world record for his age group (95+).

It was a great weekend for the athlete (who, incidentally, competes in bodybuilding too) as he also took the GB record for the 60m. He now holds the outdoor and indoor records for both events.

Speaking to The Independent afterwards, Eugster said it proves that challenges and goals can be set and achieved at any age.

Watch the retired dentist in action as he gets around the track in 55.48 seconds. It’s the best thing we’ve seen all day.
