Football league throw-in and Semple club hurling showdown - this week's key GAA fixtures

Plenty to get stuck into over the next week.

Donegal face Kerry while Cork take on Galway in the Allianz football league next Sunday.

FOOTBALL LEAGUE BATTLES in Castlebar, Cavan, Letterkenny and Omagh – along with the first St Patrick’s Day club hurling final spot on offer in Thurles – are the standout games in this week’s GAA fixture list.

The Allianz football league commences in Division 1 with Mayo meeting Monaghan, Dublin travelling to Cavan, Donegal hosting Kerry and Tyrone entertaining Roscommon.

For the hurlers of Clare’s Ballyea and Galway’s St Thomas, there is the chance on Saturday to book a place in Croke Park on St Patrick’s Day.

There’s also plenty colleges action at second and third level. Here’s what’s in store.
