CLINTON MORRISON HAS still got it.
The former Republic of Ireland international is now 36 but he continues to ply his trade in the English Football League with League Two side Exeter City.
Morrison hadn’t scored a goal in League football since January of last year when he was with Colchester United, but the drought came to an end today in spectacular fashion when he fired in a 15th-minute bicycle kick for the Grecians in their 3-3 draw with Stevenage in front of the Sky cameras.
He celebrated by going absolutely ballistic and rightly so, because the goal was a cracker. Morrison scored nine times in 36 appearances for Ireland between 2001 and ’06, but this was his first Exeter goal in 35 outings.
Is there still time to get him to Warsaw?
