ALL-IRELAND CLUB finalists Ballyboden St-Enda’s will open the defence of their Dublin senior football crown with a clash against Naomh Olaf in the first round of the 2016 championship.
Ballyboden are currently preparing for their All-Ireland showdown with Castlebar Mitchels on 17 March but they now know their first Dublin assignment after the 2016 draws were made.
St Vincent’s, beaten finalists last November who had previously claimed the 2013 and 2014 titles, will meet Erins Isle in their opening tie.
Other recent champions include Ballymun Kickhams who will take on O’Tooles while St Brigid’s will meet St Maur’s.

2015 champions Cuala and 2014 kingpins Kilmacud Crokes have been drawn against each other in Group 1 of this year’s Dublin senior hurling championship.
St Judes, who have lost out in the last two deciders, are in Group 4 while Ballyboden St-Enda’s, who have won six of the last nine senior crowns, are in Group 2.
