Watch: Shamrock Rovers turned on the Tallaght sprinklers and the eir Sport panel got soaked

Brian Kerr was quick to get out of the way.

ANYONE WHO TUNED into eir Sport’s coverage of tonight’s Europa League clash between Shamrock Rovers and Stjarnan shortly before kick-off would have been forgiven for thinking the heavens had opened over Tallaght.

Presenter Conor Morris and the panel of Pat Fenlon, Damien Lynch and Brian Kerr were, after all, drenched as they stood pitchside previewing the game.

But, there had been drama before a ball was even kicked when the Tallaght Stadium sprinklers had been turned on and soaked the lads, much to the amusement of the Rovers fans.

The Hoops are leading on the night through Graham Burke’s 21st minute goal and hold a 2-0 aggregate advantage.
