GALWAY UNITED CARVED out another encouraging win by hitting four second half goals at Eamonn Deacy Park.

Tommy Dunne’s side stunned St Patrick’s Athletic at Richmond Park last week and claimed the full complement of spoils on the banks of the Corrib.

Galway went close in the 22nd minute when Vinny Faherty headed a smashing Kevin Devaney corner narrowly wide.

A Conor Winn kickout located Faherty in the 33rd minute, but the hard working Galway attacker drilled over from an acute angle.

Ten minutes after the restart Galway skipper Ryan Connolly fizzed a long range free-kick for the Tribesmen.

Tommy Dunne’s charges were dominant rattling the Bray net in the 61st minute when Devaney scored from an acute angle.

Having already seen Conor Kenna, Dean Kelly, and Jason Marks substituted due to injury Bray were forced to conclude the match with 10 men when Sean Harding limped off in the 62nd minute.

Bray rallied briefly, but they were caught out when Paul Finnegan put the ball into his own net on 82 minutes following a Colm Horgan cross.

Faherty edged Galway three in front with an 86th minute goal before substitute Ruairi Keating decorated the victory.
