FORMER IRELAND INTERNATIONAL Kevin Kilbane met up with current Boys in Green midfielder Harry Arter recently to interview him for BBC’S Football Focus.
The Bournemouth star, who has been in excellent form this season, seems a hugely level-headed individual and spoke really well about Cherries boss Eddie Howe, receiving an elbow from Tottenham’s Moussa Sissoko last weekend and getting over the loss of his stillborn daughter at the start of the year.
It is also revealed that Arter’s partner Rachel is 22 weeks pregnant.
Let’s hope he can add to that great news with a first competitive start for Ireland in next month’s World Cup qualifier away to Austria.
