IRELAND WILL PLAY Belarus at Turner’s Cross this summer, it has been confirmed by the FAI.
As preparation for the Euro 2016 finals, the Boys in Green play the Netherlands at the Aviva Stadium on 27 May before Martin O’Neill takes his squad to Fota Island in Cork for a training camp from 30 May to 3 June.
That will include a friendly game with Belarus, the first ever meeting of the teams, on Tuesday, 31 May at the home of Cork City.
It will also be the first time the ground has hosted a full men’s senior international fixture. Ireland last played in Cork against Spain at Flower Lodge back in 1985.
Details on tickets and kick-off time have yet to be released.
