THE IRELAND SQUAD have been able to enjoy the sights and sounds of New York over the last couple of days but with the first Test match of the summer tour just 24 hours away, preparations intensified yesterday.
Joe Schmidt’s face USA Eagles at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey tomorrow evening and with temperatures hitting 30 degrees, the heat is being turned up on the players.
The squad are training at the Stevens Institute a short trip from their hotel and after a brief gym session, they were put through their paces on the paddock ahead of a tenth international meeting with USA.
