Leinster dominate Ireland u19 Sevens squad for this weekend's European Championship

Hugh Hogan’s side will face eastern European opposition in Saturday’s pool stage.

IRFU SEVENS DIRECTOR Anthony Eddy has today named his 12-man squad for the Rugby Europe Men’s under 19 Championship.

Leinster dominate the dozen with six players bound for this weekend’s tournament in Vichy, France.

With four players the product of Exiles recruitment, Munster’s sole representative in the 12 is former Ardscoil Ris number eight Kelvin Browne. While Kieran Joyce is flying the flag for Ulster.

Coached by Hugh Hogan and Colm McMahon, the u19 Sevens will take their place in Pool D alongside Moldova, Latvia and Poland who they will face (in order) from 11.30am this Saturday with, hopefully, the playoffs to follow on Sunday.
