NAMIBIA FINISHED THEIR 2015 Rugby World Cup campaign with a 64-19 defeat to Argentina today at the Leicester City Stadium.

In spite of the hammering, however, the game will stand out as one of the highlights of JC Greyling’s career after he pounced on a handling error from the Pumas in the 46th minute to get in under the posts for a try.

Why are we so interested in a Namibian centre? Because the 24-year-old played his club rugby in Dublin for Old Wesley last season.

When Greyling departed for the World Cup, Old Wesley chairman of rugby Jimmy Byrden told The42 that they’re hopeful of retaining him after the tournament “but the likelihood is that he’ll end up playing in South Africa”.
