TRIBUTES HAVE POURED in this afternoon after the sudden passing of former Cork football selector John Corcoran.
From the St Mary’s club in West Cork, Corcoran served as a Cork senior football selector between 2005 and 2007 when Billy Morgan was in charge of the Rebels.
In recent years he also served alongside Morgan as part of the UCC management teams that guided them to Sigerson Cup glory in 2011 and 2014.
A well-known GAA figure in Cork, he was heavily involved in third-level GAA circles with the Comhairle Ardoideachais and also served as a delegate to the Cork county board.
Tributes have been paid to the late Corcoran.
