IRISHMAN JOHN LACEY will referee the Challenge Cup semi-final between Harlequins and Grenoble in two weekends’ time.
The former Munster fullback has been selected by EPCR for the European semi-final on Friday 22 April, when Bernard Jackman’s Grenoble take on Conor O’Shea’s Harlequins at Twickenham Stoop.
The other Challenge Cup semi-final, between Montpellier and the Dragons in Altrad Stadium the following day, will be overseen by Englishman Wayne Barnes.
Meanwhile, Romain Poite and Nigel Owens will take charge of the Champions Cup semi-finals on the same weekend.
Welshman Owens, who refereed last year’s World Cup final, is on the whistle for Leicester Tigers’ clash with Racing 92 in the City Ground, Nottingham on Sunday 24 April.
The day before, French official Poite will adjudicate Saracens’ meeting with Premiership rivals Wasps in Madejski Stadium, Reading.
The referee for the Champions Cup final in Lyon on 13 May remains unannounced.
