HIS GROIN WAS never going to be in any shape to face Argentina, but Jonathan Sexton is continuing his running recuperation after Ireland’s World Cup exit.
Today, photographers at Leinster’s UCD training base snapped the first glimpse of the the St Mary’s man back in Leinster blue since he signed on for a return home after two years with Racing Metro in Paris.
Sexton’s training is described by scrum coach John Fogarty as ‘a light run-out’ and is not expected to pull on the jersey again until after this weekend’s trip to Treviso.

Sexton is merely one of the big international names Leo Cullen has welcomed back in to training this week, but he is the sole injury concern among the World Cup tourists.
