Juan Mata and Adnan Januzaj combine brilliantly for Man United's first goal of the night

The Red Devils beat Aston Villa 1-0 on a rare instance of Friday night football.

A GOAL FROM youngster Adnan Januzaj was enough for Man United to overcome Aston Villa 1-0 this evening.

Juan Mata was the architect, as his defence-splitting pass created the chance, before Januzaj worked some space and finished from close range.

The Belgian international was rumoured to be out of favour at Old Trafford prior to the start of the season and had been linked with a loan move to Sunderland, but on tonight’s evidence, he could prove to be a useful asset for Louis van Gaal’s side this season.
