Having claimed victories in her first two bouts in professional boxing, the Bray native is set to fight on the undercard of this Saturday’s heavyweight match-up between David Haye and Tony Bellew at the O2 Arena in London.

Taylor trained in front of the media at Ratoath Boxing Club today, and it was announced that the Olympic gold medallist will face 39-year-old Italian Monica Gentili, who has a record of six wins and six defeats in the pro game.

Her scheduled fight on the undercard of Gennady Golovkin’s world title defence at Madison Square Garden in New York on St Patrick’s weekend was called off last month.
