LEBRON JAMES MADE a young fan’s day this week, by visiting him in hospital.
LeBron, along with his Cleveland Cavaliers teammates, were attending the Cleveland Clinic when he met a young boy named Andy who was thrilled to see the NBA star enter his room.
James offered some encouraging words about the young boy’s recovery for the new year, and made a special promise to get the better of LA Lakers’ Lonzo Ball in their NBA clash on Thursday.
“Can you dunk on Lonzo for me?” asks Andrew. “I got you,” replies James.
“He might not be in my way. Once he sees I’m about to take off he might move out of the way,” he added.
James followed through on his promise, and scored 25 points 12 rebounds and 12 assists as the Cavs defeated the Lakers 121-112 in the Quicken Loans Arena.
It was a 16th NBA win in 17 games for the Cavs, with James recording a 59th career triple-double on the way to victory.
