Liverpool confirm another summer friendly in Ireland -- and tickets are now on sale

The Reds will travel to Eamonn Deacy Park to face Galway.

A LIVERPOOL XI will take on Galway United at Eamonn Deacy Park on Saturday 18 July (4pm kick-off), the Irish club have confirmed.

The news comes on the back of the announcement of friendlies against UCD, Cork City and Waterford United, as part of the Reds’ tour of Ireland.

The Liverpool team is expected to feature a number of the club’s up-and-coming players — a previous game between the sides five years ago featured the likes of Jon Flanagan, Andre Wisdom and Tom Ince.

Tickets are now on sale on from galwayunitedfc.ie and further outlets will be announced on Wednesday 24 June. The tickets are priced at €15 (Adult) and Concession €10 (Retired/Unwaged/Student/Children).

The match will be a useful workout for the Irish side, who resume their league campaign at Eamonn Deacy Park with a match against Shamrock Rovers on 26 July.
