THERE WERE A few stories floating around during the week about what players Louis van Gaal might look to bring to Man United and a few names featured prominently. It seems widely expected that LVG will target Dortmund’s Mats Hummels, Juve’s Paul Pogba and PSV’s Memphis Depay this summer.
All three would be stellar acquisitions and the Dutch winger showed this evening why United would be lucky to have him in their ranks.
No keeper in the world would stop this howitzer.

It will be interesting to see how van Gaal goes about reshaping his squad in the summer. It looks like Falcao and Robin van Persie might be leaving whereas players who once seemed like dead weight at the club, like Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini, are now thriving.
