'It's an exciting time for Irish rugby' - Our new signing Peter Stringer looks forward to the RWC

The Ireland and Munster legend is our columnist for the tournament.

HE’S BEEN THERE, done that and Peter Stringer will bring his wealth of experience to The42.ie for the entirety of the Rugby World Cup.

The former Munster and Ireland scrum half has signed on as our big-name columnist ahead of the much-anticipated tournament kick-off.

The 37-year-old has 98 Ireland caps and was part of the squads at two World Cups.

Stringer sat down with Murray Kinsella today at The42 HQ to talk Ireland’s chances, his hopes for the tournament and his own RWC experiences. We’ll post more video throughout the week across the site, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and kick off the first column next week.
