From LA to Dubai? Robbie Keane pictured training with Al-Ahli

Ireland’s all-time record caps holder has yet to reveal his next destination.

WITH ROBBIE KEANE set to announce which club he will be playing his football next, the former Ireland captain has been pictured training in the United Arab Emirates.

The 36-year-old striker left LA Galaxy in November after five years in the MLS and several clubs are believed to be vying for the veteran’s signature.

Keane has been linked to the likes of Championship side Preston and hometown club Shamrock Rovers as well as a big-money move to China, but hinted on Soccer AM recently that he would be returning to the UK.

However, Al-Ahli posted pictures of him training today accompanied by the caption: “Irish star Robbie Keane participates in the morning drills” — fuelling speculation he is set to join the Dubai-based outfit.
