WHILE HIS TEAM-MATES celebrated their dramatic one-point All-Ireland SFC final over Mayo at the final whistle, Jonny Cooper took time out to console an old teammate.

The Connacht champions’ netminder Robert Hennelly made a string of excellent saves throughout the game to keep his side in the tie.

He and Cooper played — and won Sigerson Cup titles — with DCU together in the university days.
