Hull players showed their support for team-mate Ryan Mason before tonight's game
HULL CITY’S PLAYERS showed their support for team-mate Ryan Mason before tonight’s EFL Cup semi-final second leg against Man United as the club play their first game since his injury.
The midfielder suffered a fractured skull after a nasty clash of heads with Chelsea’s Gary Cahill last Sunday but is said to be making good progress in hospital after surgery.
Ahead of tonight’s game, Mason’s team-mates wore t-shirts with his name and number written on the back as they warmed-up.
Captain Michael Dawson has already visited Mason in St Mary’s Hospital in London while manager Marco Silva says the whole squad will visit him after this weekend’s FA Cup tie against Fulham.
Tom Huddlestone’s first-half penalty has given the hosts a 1-0 lead. Follow all the action with our liveblog here.
