THERE WAS SOME late drama in Italy this afternoon as Inter Milan hosted seventh-places Sassuolo at the San Siro.
The game was an entertaining affair but looked as if it would finish scoreless with Sassuolo goalkeeper Andrea Consigli kept busy throughout.
Just before half-time, the 28-year-old showed incredible agility to push Adem Ljajic’s goalbound effort around the post.
Still 0-0 three minutes into time added on, Sassuolo were handed a huge opportunity to claim three points when they were awarded a penalty as Miranda fouled Gregoire Defrel.
Domenico Berardi stepped up to score past Samir Handanovic.
